The registrar has allowed a relaxation of the usual rules about getting grades in. Normally they are due within 48 hours of the last class which was today... Instead, I can submit the grades first thing on Monday morning.. so It would be great if you could have anything you are still working on photographed by Saturday night.
Pictures you put on the blog should also be put in your Google Drive folder. Also put any photos you took at school before we abandoned ship. If there is any work at school that didn't get photographed, write a short description of it and put that in your drive too.
This was hard to continue class this way, and I did miss everyone... I think an important part of the learning process was to allow me to help you, hands on, with your projects, pointing out how things could be better, and showing you how to fix things. On the other hand, all real learning and progress comes from your own practice and struggle with the medium. I tried to use the comments on the blog to support and encourage you, rather than be too critical.
If you would like to fire your work, hang on to it for now... keep it dry. When we get back to school, bring it in to the class and I will have an area set aside for you to leave it for bisque firing. I will help you glaze your work too.
Hang in there.
Prof. Nevins
